Adults have the option to join our Adult Archery Program (AAP).  It is a program of USA Archery that allows adults to learn proper shooting techniques, achieve awards based on score, and pursue competition if they wish, during a series of classes taught by a certified coach or instructor.  Similar in scope to USA Archery’s Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) program, the Adult Archery Program is a logical “next step” for adult archers pursuing this lifetime sport.

Junior Members

Club members 8 - 20 years of age are encouraged to join Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD).

JOAD is a nationwide program of USA Archery that provides children and teens with ongoing archery classes that help them progress from beginner to advanced level archery. Whether your child’s interest is purely recreational or a World Championship dream, the JOAD program is tailored to help the young archer achieve their goals.

Overall, JOAD is designed to grow with the archer.

AWARDS:
JOAD Star Pins are awarded for scoring achievements.  JOAD archers can earn Stars Pins for shooting indoors and/or outdoors with recurve and/or compound bows.  JOAD archers can also train to compete in local and regional tournaments and can earn a seat on a youth world team to compete in other countries representing the United States on behalf of USA Archery.
